there are few things worth considering
it's hard to believe reason anymore
overwhelming fear of catastrophe constantly looming
wanting to be more like you
hit it hard and with feeling
ending in a fit of flames
tolerate indifference in these morning yellows
your confidence is not apparent anymore
why can't everything always be okay
pointless poems reflect a poor mood
in a sense we're all dying
crossing streets complicates my life more
ending conversations with 'see you soon'

uh oh. I was going to comment saying how much I like "tolerate indifference in morning yellows" but then I realized it needs an extra word!!!!! should we give up forever? are five word poems secretly better than six???
ReplyDeleteThere was another one I posted and Jesse pointed out it was only five words. I think I'm incapable of counting. Sometimes I want to post ten word poems and have to fight the urge. We can not give up even though I can't count. I'm going to fix it now.
ReplyDeletenice fix! never give up.
